About the Role
Farmers Electric Design & Construction is hiring an E1 General Journeyman Electrician holding a current Washington State EL01 certificate to join our field team in Bothell, WA. You'll run commercial and residential work across the Puget Sound — service, tenant improvements, new construction, and design-build — with a crew that's been at it since 1956.
This is our senior field tier: we count on E1s to own their jobs, mentor trainees, and represent Farmers Electric to customers and GCs.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential electrical systems
- Read and work from plans, specs, and one-lines on jobsites across Snohomish, King, Skagit, and Pierce Counties
- Lead small crews and mentor E3 trainees and apprentices
- Coordinate with project managers, GCs, inspectors, and customers
- Keep jobs safe, clean, and code-compliant per NEC and Washington WAC 296-46B
- Document work performed, materials used, and time accurately
What You Bring

- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10/30, first aid/CPR, or NICET credentials a plus (not required)
- The steady, careful, no-drama approach our customers expect
Pay & Benefits
- $45–$65 per hour, depending on experience (Washington pay-transparency range)
- Full-time, year-round work — we're booked more than two years out
- Paid time off and holidays
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage
